Biography —
Hunter Seamons is a 2026–2027 Self Memorial Scholar from Star Valley, Wyoming, pursuing an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering. Under the direction of Dr. Shawn Keshmiri, his research focuses on integrating additive manufacturing with modern flight control systems to improve the performance, capability, and accessibility of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). His academic interests include flight dynamics and control, unmanned aircraft systems, and advanced manufacturing technologies. Hunter was a 2025 NASA Workforce Development Fellow and currently serves as Secretary of Sigma Gamma Tau, the aerospace engineering honor society. Following graduate school, he plans to pursue a career in the aerospace industry, contributing to the advancement of innovative flight technologies and next-generation unmanned aircraft systems.
